Creativity Design Color Fun

I love to lecture at guilds and shops. There is so much to talk about in our mutual passion for great quilt design! When I do an in-person lecture, my quilts travel with me. For Zoom lectures, I have created slide shows with lots of quilts and tips.

Here are a few of my more popular lecture topics. They do change over time as I bring new quilts and ideas into the mix. And I can adjust the theme to suit your group. So let's talk!

How To Smash Your Stash

This lecture and trunk show focuses on how to sort, store, use your stash. I will share tips and ideas on color and how to use precut patterns to work through your stash…even if you don’t own any precuts! After all, a precut quilt is just a curated scrap quilt!

I’ll share quilts from my book, Smash Your Precut Stash. I’ll also share some of my patterns and my journey as a quilt pattern designer. It will be a lot of fun!

Modern Traditional

In this lecture, I discuss different quilt styles and use quilts from my patterns, my book and ones I have had in magazines as examples. I talk about the mix of styles, color choices and inspiration for quilt ideas.
