The Fall O’Ween Quilt Along

Last month Kris Poor and I shared that as part of our Koffee Klatch we would introduce a new Fall themed Quilt Along. And here it is! It’s called Fall O’Ween and we are so excited to tell you all about it!

What is it? It’s a 4 month Quilt Along, featuring fall-themed quilt blocks. Every month, you’ll receive between 1 and 4 quilt block designs, along with a project to use with the quilt block(s). All the blocks are the same size, so you can mix and match your blocks in the projects!

When the QAL is done, you will have useful projects that you can use to decorate your home for the fall season! The blocks are a fun mix of fall and Halloween-inspired designs.

What’s included? You get 10 blocks plus a bonus block, and 4 fun projects for only $20!!!

How does it work? The patterns are delivered via email, once a month, July through October. On the first Saturday of the month, you’ll receive the block pattern(s) and project pattern for that month.

What are the techniques? All the blocks are traditionally pieced; they use basic units like half square triangles, flying geese, etc.  Nothing too crazy! There is no paper piecing, and there is no applique. 

How much fabric do you need? You will get block cutting instructions with sizes and project fabric amounts every month. It’s hard to give you an overall fabric amount because you may choose to use different fabrics and colors than we did. While Kris and I used a FQ bundle, we wrote the patterns for WOF strips. But just because we wrote it for WOF strips, it doesn’t mean you have to use them. These projects could be a great way to use your fall fabric stash.
