Hi friends!
Today I reveal my March Quilt Block sneak peek 1!
The Block
To recap, we are remixing the Yellow Tulip Block.
You can see my fabric pick pin the first post here. I kept to the yellow theme and added some more spring colors.
Sneak Peek 1 of the March Quilt Block
To get started redesigning my block, I ended up pulling out my colored pencils and paper copies of the block. I thought I would start drawing lines and coloring sections and see what happened.
Sometimes I like to work solely in the computer. I use EQ8 and it is such a great program. And very easy to make changes to blocks, fabrics, colors… But sometimes you just want to get out your colored pencils and draw. The act of coloring and drawing can be so relaxing! It reminds me of when I was a kid. I loved coloring!
My favorite thing to color back then was in these fashion dolls coloring books. It was so fun.
Did you like to color as a kid? Do you still color? Adult coloring books became a “thing” a few years ago and made it more accessible, and more acceptable, for adults to color. Yay!
