Did you have a great weekend? I was a busy girl- sewing, writing patterns, printing patterns… does not sound like much of a weekend, but then, I like sewing and writing patterns so it is all good!
We have some new patterns up on the website- meet Knights at Play and Tumbled!
They were designed to work with some great new fabric coming out by Northcott called Little Knights and Topsy Turvy. Knights at Play has 3 sizes of quilts- a crib, a 40″ square and a twin. Tumbled has a 74″ square quilt and a twin size. Cute kid quilts!
And we have winners in our McCalls Quilting magazine giveaway!
The winners are: Karen A and Rosalind Gutierrez! Congratulations. I will be emailing you to get your mailing address.
I really want to thank everyone who has commented on my posts- all the magazine giveaways and the recent book blog tour. I appreciate you all!
And how about a winner in the Splash of Color book blog hop!
The winner of an ebook copy of Jackie’s book is: Linda Collum!
Congratulations! I will send your email information to Jackie and she will get a copy to you.
Oh- and I picked a name for my version of Jackie’s quilt- it was SO hard given all the wonderful suggestions (thank you by the way- I thought they were all great!) but in the end it came down to 2: Spot On and Sewing Spots.
I love Spot On– just fun and to the point. Hit the right nerve. Sewing Spots really fit the quilt in that it was a nod to the sewing themed fabric I used and it was so close to there original quilt’s name (Seeing Spots).
And the final pick is: Sewing Spots! It was a really hard decision- though I reserve the right to design a quilt to fit the name Spot On!
Have a great rest of your week everyone!
happy quilting,
Kate
