Hi friends!
Many businesses choose a word each year to be their guide. Their focus as they move forward. Sometimes the word is focus. Or maybe Accept. Accomplish. Intentional. Create.
You get the idea. I thought long and hard about a word this year for me and my business and I have decided on Thoughtful for my word.
Thoughtful.
Thoughtful means showing consideration for the needs of other people. Showing careful consideration or attention.
I like that. I think these days it is important to consider what we say, consider thoughtfully what we post, and what we do BEFORE we say, do or post. I have always believed that my business is not just about creating but about serving. I strive to create quilt designs that are interesting, but also to create patterns that are easy to follow.
Like everyone, I don’t always hit the mark. But I try. I am not perfect or even pretend to be. I just strive to be the best I can be. To fix mistakes as I find them. And to consider others- to consider quilt shops and what they need, to consider quilters and what they need…
Thoughtful.
So the question is, what would you like to see here this year? I know I have to do a video of my Braid Template demo; I have promised to do that. What else would you like to see?
