Christmas in July Quilting Project with Benartex Fabrics

Now, I can’t wait to show you my Christmas in July quilt!

When I signed up to participate, I was thrilled to be assigned Cherry Guidry’s fabric line Joy. It is so fun, so happy and just makes me smile. 

 Definitely a joyful line!

I used the fabrics to make a new version of my quilt Forest Nights.

Forest Nights is a 6 month BOM quilt, but trust me, you can make it faster than that!

Here is my Christmas in July quilt!

I love, love, love how this quilt came out!

I think I could have this quilt out almost all winter! The fabric line has snowmen and and trees and candy canes…

And the text fabric is lovely. May your days be merry and bright. A wonderful sentiment for all year!

I think the hardest part of the process was deciding which fabrics in the line to use and where they would go. I wanted to use them all! But I really love how the trees came out. Who said all trees must be green?

I had a lot of help with this quilt… Luna helped me machine sew the binding on the front of the quilt.

Lark helped me hand sew the binding to the back of the quilt and Kira helped with the photo shoot!

To quilt the quilt we used an all over design with snowflakes. Perfect.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my new version of my quilt, Forest Nights! I am so happy with how it came out!
