Today I want to share with you some images of a new batik fabric line that should be in quilt shops near you soon!

New Batik Line
Say hi to Moonlight Sky!
This line is my third Signature Line designed for my by Kathy Engle of Island Batik. Which means that I got to play with the fabric early and design quilts to go in Island Batik’s catalog! I had a blast with this line. The colors are so rich and saturated.

How about I show a few of my new quilts that use the fabric?
Deep Space
I love, love, love this quilt. I always love star blocks and these are pretty quick to make!
Plus it uses a lot of fabrics so it has great variety to the blocks.
Can you tell where I got the name? Doesn’t Deep Space look like lots of stars in a deep, dark sky? Adding more variety in the blocks by using different background fabrics is a great way to add more interest to a quilt!
Side Step
This pattern has already been quite the favorite- you might see it show up in a quilt shop near you soon!
Side Step is a bold, modern quilt that is pretty easy to piece.
The pattern also has a table runner in it; doesn’t it look great with our cat mugs?
Solar Energy
Looking for a challenge? Love lots of negative space to quilt in? This quilt has both!
Solar Energy is a one block quilt- the block is just recolored and resized to make it look different!
Aren’t these fun? And isn’t this fabric line fabulous?
