Pop Up Blog Hop- day 4- My day!

February 10, 2016July 27, 2020 102 comments

Welcome everyone to my day on the Pop Up Blog Hop! I had so much fun with this. A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned I had made my first Pop Up in anticipation of the blog hop. Actually, I made 2- and it was fun!

I used the Stacking Pop Up pattern and my Little Bits of Love pattern and made a medium pop up and a large pop up.

The medium pop up works very well for storing your favorite patterns (you know, like your Seams Like a Dream patterns?) and the large pop can have a variety of uses.

Today my large heart pop up was the fabric scrap bin while I was making more pop ups! I think these are addictive!

Next I took my Braid Template and used my 2 ½” scraps to make a large braid pop up.

I am now using it to store towels in the spare bathroom.

Next I made a cute medium pop up using my Harbor Lights pattern and some soft, pretty yellow and gray fabrics that I had.

What do you think? Wouldn’t this look sweet in the nursery?

You could store some diapers, some toys or if Pooh gets in trouble, he can go in time out in the pop up!

I was going to make Pop Ups using my Tulip Trio pattern, but I ran out of time.  But I have the fabric cut out and they are ready to go so someday soon.

As you can see, Pop Ups are pretty versatile. You can make them pretty special by combining a block from a pattern with a pop up. For each of these pop up versions, we will be making a free pattern adaptation sheet. The sheet for the Little Bits Pop up is all ready. The others will be coming soon. Click here for the free PDF.

So what’s a blog hop without a giveaway? I am giving away one Stacking Pop Up pattern with a package of Medium Springs and a pattern of your choice- either Little Bits of Love, Tulip Trio or Harbor Lights.

Leave a comment below telling me which pattern you want to make your Pop Up in. If you get my newsletter (or if you sign up for it), leave a second comment for an extra chance to win!

Giveaway closes Sunday Feb 21st after 9pm my time.

Giveaway is closed. Thank you to all who entered!

It is a hard choice between all three patterns. Tulips for spring, Harbor Lights can be used everywhere in the house, or Hearts. I think Harbor Lights would be great for me. This is the first I have seen the Pop Ups. Would love to make up some for my new house that should be ready mid April.
