Welcome to Day 1 of the Quilt Designer Shop Hop!
Quilters love getting together and so do quilt designers! Many of us work from home and so having a chance to get together and visit, talk about being in business, and set up plans to collaborate are so much fun. But like you, we are not going to quilt shows- retail shows where we can visit with quilters or trade shows where we can visit with industry professionals.
So there been many online collaborations!
Quilt shop hops are another fun way to connect with other quilters. And since many quilt shop hops have been postponed, we decided to bring you a virtual quilt shop hop complete with a free block at every shop!
The theme of this quilt shop hop is: Moving forward …separate but working together, inspired by life under quarantine.
At each stop during our quilt shop hop, the designer will have a short FB Live video for you to see and a blog post. And as part of any good shop hop, we each have a free block for you! The blocks will be free during the shop hop and available for purchase for a nominal fee after the shop hop.
Each designer will also share a setting option for using those blocks! I know I can’t wait to see what everyone has come up with!
