Play, and some great news!

As some of you know, I was a nurse in my previous life.

Actually, I am still am nurse, just not working in the field right now. One of the best parts of nursing was when I worked directly with the patients. It was rewarding to help someone.

Quilting is a different reward.

I get to play!

This is what I have been playing with for the last couple of days.

The fabric is from Blank Quilting and the line is called Madeline. So fun and bright. I am loving it. 

But what is the great news you say???

Well… drum roll please…

We are in the newest edition of McCalls Quilting magazine! Wow! We are so excited!

If you get the subscription, it should be on the way to you now; it won’t be on newsstands for another week.

But look- here is our cute little guy called “Hold the Gravy” on the cover. We are cover girls!

We will post more about our adorable little turkey next week- but for now, Woo Hoo!
