Hi friends!
The plan for today’s post was to chat about sewing room organization. Instead, I thought it would be fun to link to some other posts where you might get some really good ideas! I know I enjoyed checking them out.
Links to Good Articles for Organizing your Sewing Room:
Amy Smart is the creative genius behind the blog, Diary of a Quilter, and you can find lots of great posts, tutorials and inspiration here!
All People Quilt, the website of American and Patchwork quilt magazine, has many great articles; there were a few rooms in this slideshow that I covet!
Here is a post from porch.com to get good ideas to design your craft room.
Sherri is a quilter, a fabric designer, author of quilt books and has a podcast! She has a great website and click here for one of her organization posts!
Ikea Hacks for Organizing your Sewing Room:
Who doesn’t love a good Ikea hack? I know my sewing room has lots of pieces from Ikea. My ironing table started as a kitchen cart. My husband made a large wooden top for it that I covered with fabric.
My cutting table is a kitchen island and my closet doors are sliding curtains from Ikea. Not so much hacks as just perfect uses for my sewing room!
