Hi friends!
Welcome to my post in the Peacock Plumes Blog Hop!
New Batik Fabric
Peacock Plumes is a new batik fabric line- designed by Kathy Engle of Island Batik for Tammy Silver of Tamarinis!
Tammy organized a blog hop so you can see the fabric used in lots of different ways!
At the end of this post are links to all the other designers’ posts so you can see what they created with the fabric!
Fat Quarter Quilts
I love FQ quilts. I think they are a great way to be able to play with a variety of fabrics and have a really interesting quilt! Besides, who can resist those FQ bundles??? Not me!
Boston Bricks
One of my go to quilts is my pattern Boston Bricks. This is the lap size of the quilt with a dark sashing.
And here is the quilt with a light sashing!
Which is your favorite?
Savannah Squares
Savannah Squares is another fun FQ friendly quilt.
ZigZagNoli
Sometimes simple is also bold and dramatic. That is how I feel about this FQ pattern, ZigZagNoli. A simple, easy to piece quilt that can really look dynamic. I love how it looks in Peacock Plumes!
I hope I gave you some good ideas on how you can use Peacock Plumes to create your next quilt!
In case you missed any posts, here is the whole lineup from this week!
Be sure to go to Tammy’s post and leave a comment on her post to enter the FQ giveaway! But hurry- you only have until October 2nd to enter!!!!!
