Do you watch “how to” videos on You Tube?
A lot of people go to You Tube to learn how to do things and there is so much information there!
I looked at a few the other day- maybe I can finally learn how to do Continental Knitting instead of how I currently knit. Actually, I can do the knit stitch continental, it is the purl stitch that I cannot figure out!
In our booth at Quilt Market, we were showing how to use the Cottage Ruler by Creative Grids.
The ruler was designed by Susan Knapp and Mary Jane Mattingly of The Quilt Branch.
Why the Cottage Ruler? Well, it is just another way you can cut the parallelogram shape we use in our table runner pattern, Leftovers!
In the pattern, we give you a template that you can make out of template plastic, or tape to your regular ruler, but the Cottage Ruler is even easier!

By the way, isn’t out little table runner adorable? We originally designed it for a blog hop and now it is its own pattern!
