Hi friends!
Right now I am in Salt Lake City for Quilt Market. I am pretty excited to be able to walk the show, take some classes, hang out with quilty friends…
The plane ride was great- beautiful views out my window. It was hard to tell the snow covered mountain peaks from the clouds.
So pretty.
Some of you may have seen the little video I did on Facebook on Tuesday. (Click over to my Facebook page if you want to see it!) I was working on a placemat using my new pattern Table Scraps and some leftover fabric from another project.
My question to all who watched was, which thread should I use to quilt the placemat?
The choices? A yellow variegated, a pink variegated or an orange solid.
I ended up using the pink to quilt and the orange in the binding.
I think it turned out great.
Hopefully I will find all sorts of fun things at Market to show you.
happy quilting,
Kate

I missed this on FB Tuesday — I have not been keeping up with FB lately — but you obviously made the right choice! I have bought Table Scraps so I was particularly interested in seeing what you had done with it. I love your color choice and the quilting is gorgeous! Hope you have fun at market.
Thanks!
