Welcome back! Did you have a good weekend?
Today you will visit with Becky Jorgensen. Becky has a website called the Patchwork Posse . If you have not been on her site before, I know you will have fun checking out all the great information she has there.
Just don’t forget to enter the book giveaway while you are at her blog!
But before you go, let me introduce 2 friends of Elizabeth’s that participated in our book, Karen Ayotte and Debbie Gilbert.
Elizabeth met Debbie at a quilt shop in Syracuse. Debbie hired Elizabeth and they worked together for over 2 years. Debbie has been a quilt teacher for over 20 years. She currently is a teacher’s aid in the school system, has two college aged children and owns a cabin in the Adirondacks.
Debbie made a great version of our runner called My Favorite FQ Runner. Here is just a sneak peek!
Karen and Elizabeth met through their husbands – who are classmates from college. Karen’s mother in law also has gallery quilts in a few quilt books. Karen is always dreaming about a long arm after taking classes at MQX every year! She is a nurse by trade and has 3 grown children.
Karen made a really fun version of our quilt Dance Party that she called Martinis Make Me Dance! In this little sneak peek, you can see the inspiration fabric for the name of her quilt!
Her version was quilted by Michelle Eno and our quilt was quilted by Crystal Zagnoli.
So dance on over to Becky’s blog and don’t forget to enter while you are over there for a chance to win a copy of our book!
happy quilting,
Kate
