Hi friends!
Today I want to share my March Quilt block reveal!
The March Quilt Block- the Yellow Tulip
To recap, we started with the Yellow Tulip quilt block.
In my first post this month, I shared the fabrics I was using.
In my second post, I shared a bit of the redesign process.
I admit, I didn’t post here on week 3 this month as I was traveling!
The March Quilt Block Reveal
And here is my new yellow tulip quilt block!
I love that it still looks a little like a tulip but it has more fabrics and more color!
Here is the block in the fabrics I chose from Island Batik. It’s like a log cabin but as a tulip!
The Ingram Street quilt block as a quilt
I played around with block in 2 different settings. These are just 4 block quilts but would be so fun as a wall hanging or table topper! The pattern has 2 sizes of the block; 6″ and 12″ finished.
Quilt 1:
Using 2 greens as the last round in the block gave it some more interest when the 4 blocks came together.
Quilt 2:
At first glance, this one feel almost more southwest! Again, it is just 4 blocks and some borders. So not a big quilt.
Quilt 3:
Isn’t this fun?
I always love seeing the different looks one block can make just by rotating it!

Next month, we will be working on a new quilt block and giving it a bit of a remix! As there are 5 Mondays in April, we are starting on the 8th, not the 1st!
See you then!
happy quilting!
