Ever feel like you have lost your mojo? Not just your quilting mojo, but your over all energy?
How do you find yours again?
Yesterday, I was out of gas. I had a list of to-do’s a mile long and no ambition. Sound familiar?
So, since I needed a few little pieces of fabric to finish a project I was working on, I decided to treat myself to a little fabric retail therapy. (I need more fabric like I need a hole in my head, but who cares!) One the shops near me, Snappy Quilts, is fun, bright and energetic. So I ran over there hoping they would have what I needed. I also had a few Snappy Bucks in my pocket from their recent anniversary sale.
So look what I got with my Snappy $$?
Aren’t they cute?
Not sure what they will become, but they were too much fun to pass up!
I just love dots! they just make me smile!
And then I ran over to Holly’s Quilt Cabin, another great quilt shop, to round out the items needed to finish my project.
I came home, worked on my project, sat with the cat on the couch and finished binding a quilt.
Retail therapy, quilting and a cat. I got my mojo back!
happy quilting,
Kate
I can certainly relate to that! My problem is that the nearest LQS is an hour away. š I love that fabric.
