Summer is a great time for quilt shows.
This weekend I am going to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival in Loveland CO. It looks to be a fun time! I will be spending a little time each day in the booth for The Thread Loft, a quilt store in Aurora. Our patterns will be displayed there, so come and check us out!
While the owner of the Thread Loft, Victoria, was out of town, Wendy and I decided to “play”! You know, while the cat (aka boss) is away and all! We came up with this cute kit for a fall table runner.
Isn’t it adorable?
It uses our pattern Row House and some really great fabrics. We will have kits for this on sale at the booth, but only a few, so be sure to come by and get one before they are gone!
Row House has become one of my go-to patterns for a runner- it is quick, fun and looks great!
See? Doesn’t it look great on my dining table??
Next week I will post a picture of one done in some Christmas fabrics- just in case you are looking to get a head start on those holiday gifts!
Oh, and did I show you Wendy’s version of Row House? It is amazing! She decided she wanted to do a two color quilt and picked Row House to be her modern version. How exciting!
It is done all in batiks and the center of the framed block has Koi fish. I can’t wait to see it quilted. Stunning! Great job Wendy!
What are you doing this weekend?
Happy quilting,
Kate
