Do you know about QuiltCon? It is the quilt show put on by the Modern Quilt Guild. The show is this February in Austin, Texas. A couple of months ago, Elizabeth and I decided to enter a few of our quilts in the show. Well, we submitted a few quilts- ones we thought met the “modern” criteria. And guess what???
One got in!
Woohoo! We are very excited.
So what quilt is going to Austin?
Elizabeth did the piecing and Allison Brown of Allison’s Quilting did the amazing quilting job.
In my last post I mentioned I was going to put together a list of UFOs and get started. It seems everyone is starting the new year with a UFO goal! All People Quilt has a great chart that you can download and list 12 UFOs for the year.
Check it out here. They also have a cute way to decided what project to work on next.
I have started my list- and picked my project for January, but right now I am working another new, super secret project so…
but I will get to it!
On Thursday, we are having a guest blogger- our newest team member and she has a great giveaway! You won’t want to miss it.
And don’t forget that next Monday, January 12th the Studio Spotlight Blog Hop begins. Ten designers will show their studios and maybe their latest project and have a groovy giveaway. I know our giveaway is fabulous!!!
Below is a calendar of the blogs. You won’t want to miss this.
See ya in the studio!
Congrats! This is one awesome quilt. Looks like a show stopper to me 🙂
we will look into going! Congratulations!
That’s so cool! Do you have a pattern for it yet? Congrats on getting in the show, that’s a big deal. Hope to see you soon! Happy New year!
