So is quilting your sole creative endeavor or do you indulge in other creative/crafty outlets?
Both Elizabeth and I knit, and we have each done a multitude of other crafty/creative things in the past such as cross stitch, basket making, etc… Did you notice the quilted knitting bag? I love when my crafts come together!
And while quilting is my first love, I do love to knit. It is all about the fiber!
This is the yarn I picked up on my recent travels- from an adorable yarn shop in Nantucket.
While part of the group was out running or walking, my daughter, our friend Charmion and I took the bikes for a ride and went to the yarn shop. So much more fun than running! (In my humble opinion anyway.)
The yarn was bought for a crochet bag project- I must confess, I don’t really crochet. So this should be interesting. But the owner of the shop had designed the pattern and was generous enough to share, so I must try!
But first, I will finish these socks. I only ever attempted socks once before- I made one. Not really usable.
Hopefully this time, I will make 2!
