See my block? On the right, second from the top!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks vol 11 Blog Tour! Have you seen the magazine yet? It will not disappoint; so many fun blocks!

Any my block, Swirly Whirly Floral, made the cover! Isn’t she cute?

Swirly Whirly Floral Block

What can you do with this block? Well, here are a few ideas- You could make a sweet spring runner for your table. Use 3 or 4 blocks, depending on how long you want it.

Swirly Whirly Floral Runner

Don’t want to do that much appliqué? Then use 3 blocks and only appliqué the center one!

Spring Runner

How about a small quilt? It uses 9 pieced blocks and puts the appliqué on 5 of them.

You could add some color to the center on the non-appliqued blocks.

Or change some of the colors around…

Or use fun purples for a pop of color…

I am always inspired by the many choices to show one block. I think I like the three in a row runner best. I don’t mind applique; just don’t see that many I love.
However, I would do yours, it is beautiful!

When I first say the magazine cover your block was the one that drew my eye. Love the purple.

Yes, she is a cutie. I love the idea of the different layouts as well as the color options. It is very helpful for us to see what we could be quilting beforehand. Thank you for being a part of the QM’s 100 Blocks, Volume 11 blog tour and the chance to win a copy of this awesome magazine.

Love this. Really like the idea of using the appliqué on some blocks and have the same block. Minus the appliqué. Great idea.

I love applique but don’t do it as much as I would like to. I’m adding this block to my list.
