The day after Labor Day. I know fall does not officially start for a few weeks, but to me, this has always seemed to be the start of fall.
School is (usually) back in earnest and there is a sense of what the new year will bring. I don’t have small children anymore, but I still feel that pull every fall.
As a kid, I loved getting new notebooks and pens and pencils- such a sense of excitement, what we will learn and create with these?
A box of new pens or colored pencils still has that same feeling for me.
Like getting new fabric- oh, the sense of excitement at the new creation to come!
Even old fabric can have that same feeling when you use it to start a new project!
