Daisy Mae is my other grand-kitty. She is Huey’s sister. She and Huey live with my daughter in Connecticut. Not to be outdone by her brother, she needed a quilt named after her as well.
Like her brother Huey, she likes to be in on the action. Unlike her brother, she is not sleek or black. We call her pear shaped!
But she is just so cute.
And snuggly.
And so is her quilt!
Meet Daisy Mae!
Like Huey’s quilt, the fun part is you can play with the blocks and put them in different settings.
While we call this series our Cat Nap Quilts, we also say they are fast, fun and done!
Day 9- if you are looking for the blog post to enter the giveaway, click here! Tell your friends- we still need a few more “Likes” on our Facebook page to release the Grand prize!
Elizabeth and I are participating in a business seminar for the next few days called the Creative Arts Business Summit. It is sponsored by Morna McEver Golletz of the IAPQ (International Association of Professional Quilters- does that mean we are professionals? who knew!).
Should be fun- we will get to be around some really creative people and hopefully get some really good ideas!
happy quilting,
Kate
