Another Daisy Mae and a giveaway!

April 1, 2014July 29, 2020 57 comments
Cover full
McCall’s May/June issue 2014.

One of our patterns is in the recent McCall’s Quilting magazine! Woo hoo!

Daisy-Mae-flat-600pxThey called her Daisy Mae- isn’t she cute?

We used fabrics from Robert Kaufman Fabrics- I just love how she came out!

When we designed the quilt, we wanted the flowers to spin a little and the gray squares to form a pinwheel, but you can change the rotation of the blocks and make it look different. Play with it!

And, McCall’s gave us two magazines to give away! Leave a comment at the bottom of this post and tell us what color you would make your flowers and you will be entered into our drawing to win a copy of the May/June McCall’s Quilting magazine. There are lots of great quilts in this issue. And a bonus CD with 18 scrappy projects! How cool is that?

If you are signed up for our newsletter, let me know and you get an extra chance. If you like our Facebook page, you get an extra chance. Just let me know.

McCalls Daisy Mae-1

Contest ends Friday night April 4th (my birthday just in case you needed to know that!) at 9pm MST. So enter, then tell your friends to pop over here to enter and good luck!

Oops! I am extending the contest as leaving a comment was not working… so now you have until next Friday, April 11th.

happy quilting,

Kate

p.s. If you don’t win, and you can’t find the magazine locally, you can always click here and order a magazine from McCall’s- print or digital, your choice!

Having seen how pretty your quilt is, red seems like the only choice. But my cousin’s daughter loves purple so I might make her a quilt with violets dancing across it.
