Welcome back!
Today you are going to get to visit with Casey York of Casey York Designs. She is a wonderful designer that I have only had the chance to chat with very briefly at QuiltCon. But I would love to spend more time with her. In addition to being a great quilter, she is very nice!
I am going to show you the quilts of another very nice person, my daughter Alyssa Colleran DesRosier. Alyssa is an all around sweetie- and I am not just saying that because she is my daughter. Everyone I know agrees.
She is a wonderful help to us – she consults on color choices, design choices, she tests patterns and corrects my text when it gets too wordy, incoherent or I use too many !!!! I love to use !!!!
Alyssa has 2 quilts in our book, her version of Bella that she made for her friend Rebecca and Bits ‘n Bouys, her version of our baby quilt using mini charms. Rebecca’s quilt was quilted by Connie White and the baby quilt was quilted by Dawn Bakies. They are both terrific!
Our quilt Bella was quilted by Sandi Verbridge of Sandi’s Quilted Touch.
And our quilt Bits ’n Blocks was quilted by Pilar Joy.
Head over to Casey’s blog and while you are there, don’t forget to enter for a chance to win a copy of our book!
See you Monday!
happy quilting,
Kate
