2024 Plans
Quilt Block Remix Challenges
To start, in January we are reviving the Quilt Block Remix challenge! For that don’t know this, on Instagram (and I post on Facebook as well) Tammy Silvers and I set up a challenge each month. We challenge ourselves and other quilt pattern designers to take a classic quilt block and remix it, change it and make into something new!
We did the challenges each month in 2021 and 2022 and did a couple in 2023 and then took a break. But it’s back! I can’t wait to show you my remix this January.
We do 4 posts a month- on Monday. the first post is the traditional block and our fabric pull for our variation. then we post a couple of sneak peeks and then our remixed block is revealed!
For those of you NOT on Instagram or Facebook, I will be posting a blog post at the end of each month sharing the process.
Fabric Reveal
In February and March, I will be hosting an Instagram hop and blog post hop on the my new batik fabrics lines!! WOOT!
And yes, that means FQ bundle giveaways!
Feb 7th will be the Winged Things hop and March 6th will be the hop for Breezy! These 2 lines are coming out close together due to shipping issues but it actually works out- they work together so well. Winged Things is the softer spring line and Breezy is the bolder fall line!
I will announce the hops in my newsletter the week before to remind everyone so be sure to follow my blog or be on my newsletter so you don’t miss them!
Winged Things is shipping to stores now. It is the line that inspired my 2024 wall calendar, notepads and butterfly stickers!

Quilt Alongs 2024
I was excited to have the opportunity to design a BOM quilt pattern for QT fabrics. The fabrics are set to show up at quilt shops in March and fingers crossed there are no shipping delays!
I can’t wait to show you the quilt! I used the most awesome new line from QT called Aura and the quilt is called Allure.

To go along with the BOM pattern, I will be posting here each month starting in the late spring about the blocks. Please note, I am just sharing tips; to be able to make the quilt, you will need the pattern. I am hoping to get a list of shops carrying the BOM kits and share that.

Other Quilt Alongs
I haven’t decided for sure, but I hope to do another free Mystery quilt along at the end of the year for my newsletter subscribers. I recognize that sharing your email with me is an honor; so when you sign up, you get a free quilt pattern.
And for those who stick out the year with me, I hope to also show my appreciation with a free Mystery QAL. We did one this past November and I love how they projects came out! Here’s mine.
Since the project was a Mystery, I called it Tianna, a girl’s name that means mystery. If you weren’t part of the newsletter in November, the QAL is over but I will make the pattern will be available for sale in January as a PDF.
You may ask why is it a maybe on the free Mystery QAL next November? Well, I may be moving in October so we will have to wait and see what I am able to pull together depending on the move (or the not move). Everything is up I the air right now!
