Hi friends!
I wanted to do one last giveaway before the end of the year. I don’t think I showed you all this but I had a project on the cover the McCall’s Quilting Nov/Dec magazine!
My pattern for a Christmas stocking was shown on the cover along with a couple of other stockings. Sew fun! This was a quick, easy project.
I made my argyle stocking with big squares and then decided to do a little ‘big stitching’ for a fun, cozy, down home look. I used white Aurfil thread in a 12 wt so the stitching would show.
I used a couple of fabric lines from Benartex: Mulberry Lane and Nordic Holidays.
I am giving away a copy of the magazine; there are a lot of fun projects in here, not just stockings!
If you would like a chance to win a copy of the magazine, leave a comment here on this blog post and I will pull a name Sunday night Dec 10th after 9pm. Hmmm…. I will be on the east coast visiting family then so it will have to be east coast time!
Giveaway is closed! Thanks for entering!
I hope you are having a great month.
happy quilting!
Kate
And just a reminder- my 12 Days of Christmas sale is still going on until this Sunday Dec 10th. To make it easier, I created a page just for all 12 items on sale. Click here to see them all in one place.
I debated having a sale, there are SO MANY right now, but I really wanted to you to have a chance to get some of my more popular items at a discount– like my book, Smash Your Precut Stash, and the Braid Template.
