How are you doing? I hope you are all enjoying this season- the holidays, family time, shopping, cooking,… it can get so busy we forget to stop and just be in the moment.
At least I know I can do that!
I just got back from a trip to CT to see family. We celebrated an early Christmas as my son who lives in FL has a hard time getting time off around Christmas as he and his girlfriend both work for Disney World and that is a super busy time of year! And truly, it worked out well for all my kids. It was just so wonderful to have us all together.
We hung out, played games, went to see The Nutcracker, saw some of my husband’s family, saw some of my family and even went to see the new Star Wars movie!
Plus we got to go relax, be silly and see my son- in- law’s Irish band, The Jolly Beggars, play one night.
Silly Beggars!
In other news, I am so excited to share with you that I will be teaching at the AQS show in Lancaster PA in March 2018! Yikes!
I am teaching 5 classes– 4 half day classes and 1 full day class, plus doing a 1 hour lecture and a demo the night before the show begins at the All Star Review. It will be a busy few days. I hope some of you will be at the show and able to take classes. I would love to see you!
If you would like to see what classes I am teaching, as well as all the other classes offered by the other amazing teachers (I am so awed to be teaching along side some of these great quilters!), click here to see the line up.
I will share more on this after the New Year. In the meantime, happy holidays, happy new year and next week I will share a book review as well as what’s coming in 2018!
happy quilting!
