Our new patterns are here! Yippee!
Elizabeth and I have been working very hard on four new designs to get them ready for Quilt Market in 2 weeks. And today we are so happy to introduce one of the new quilts, Magnetic Midnight!
Now you may have seen sneak peeks of this quilt on our Facebook page or here on the blog; we are just so thrilled with how it came out.
This quilt is “jelly roll” friendly. Or, 2 ½” strip friendly!
We were lucky enough to work with a new 2½” Tonga Treat strip pack called Rainbow from Timeless Treasures. They have some awesome Tonga Treat packs- check them out here.
We think this quilt should win an Academy Award- for Best Dramatic Quilt!

And you don’t even have to get a designer dress to win your own Drama Award- just grab your favorite strip pack and get sewing!
Here is another shot during our “photo shoot”- so pretty with the tree and the gorgeous blue sky!
Now they may look hard- these wonky blocks- but they really are pretty simple to do. And because the blocks are cut a little oversize, you don’t have to match points. We like that!
Crystal Zagnoli of The Quilted Cricket did the quilting; isn’t it wonderful?
Even the scraps are so pretty!
The pattern has two sizes- you add a few more blocks and a slightly larger outer border for the larger size quilt.
