Hi friends!
You’re invited to the Jingle Bell Pines Block Party!
When: Starts July 24 – September 25
Where: Here on the blog and on Instagram
What is Jingle Bell Pines?
Jingle Bell Pines is a brand new Block of the Month pattern designed by me and Kris Poor of Poorhouse Quilt Designs.
It’s a holiday inspired quilt with nine blocks plus two setting blocks. The pattern is ideal for confident beginners with basic piecing techniques, such as HST, QST, and Flying Geese.
Block Party
It seems like the holidays are just around the corner and Kris and I are really embracing Christmas in July this year!
We are so excited about this quilt that we wanted to help you make your blocks! Join us on Instagram and our blogs as we post weekly tips and tricks! We will guide you to stay on track and make it easy to have a quilt by the holidays!
The pattern even includes a fun bonus pillow – who doesn’t love that?
Get your holiday sewing started this July with the Jingle Bell Pines BOM and you will be ready to decorate this holiday season!
Ask for the pattern at your local quilt shop.
And if that doesn’t work, click here to go to Kris’s website and grab the pattern!
Note: we are not sharing any cutting information or block sizes; you must have the pattern to make the blocks.
The Plan
The Block Party starts on Thursday 7/24 with Block 1.
Then, every week on Thursday, from July 24 through 9/25, we will share the next block from the quilt, along with tips, our favorite tools, and any other information that we think might help you make the block.
We will be posting both on our blogs as well as on IG and FB.
Come party with us!!!
happy quilting,
Kate
We’ve added a handout for you- with a checklist for the timeline and a fabric page to keep track of your fabrics! Click here to download the PDF!
The fabric is beautiful and I just love some of the items which you have made., I’m just a new quilter and need easy patterns. Thank you for sharing.
Interesting, so pretty, and looks like fun to make into a bright, beautiful quilt. I am seeing several, easy to make quilts ! I’m now in my 70’s, been sewing off and on since my beginning at age 8 !! My first was a drawing that I began my embroidery. Then made a costume for my troll. Used Mom’s sewing machine !
