Designer’s Tip and Techniques

The Facebook event, Designer’s Tips and Techniques happens again next month July 7th-9th. Have you been watching?

For those who have missed it, for the last few months a bunch of quilt designers have been sharing a tip or a technique on their FB page. Each video is around 15 minutes and wow, there has been so much great information shared!

If you have missed the last few months, there is a group FB page where many of the designers have shared their videos. Click here to check it out!

Quilt Designer’s Shop Hop

I don’t know about you, but I love going on quilt shop hops! But right now, some of us are not going out to the local shops or the usual quilt shows and shop hops may not be happening. So a few of us decided to create an online shop hop! 

Twelve quilt pattern designers have gotten together and created 12” block designs using Electric Quilt. Each of us will be doing a video on FB telling you about our “shops” and then a blog post where we will have a link to our quilt block! The blocks will be free to download during the shop hop and then. if you missed any, they will be available to purchase after the shop hop is over. We will also share a potential setting for your blocks. 

I can’t wait to see everyone’s blocks! I am sure it will be fun to see the variety of styles and techniques.

This quilting event and shop hop will run from July 13th- 18th. Two designers will share their videos and blocks each day. I will post the schedule once it is finalized.

Christmas in July

Benartex is hosting a project hop July 19th- 31st. My day on the hop is July 29th and I can’t wait to show you the project I am making with these fun fabrics by Cherry Guidry!
