Hi friends!
Do you know the expression- best laid plans…? Or life is what happens while you are busy making plans? That has been my week.

But, Quilt Market was great! I got to see new fabrics, see old friends, make new friends (nothing better than new quilting buddies!) and just get inspired. I have lots of ideas swirling around in my head. It will be fun to see what actually makes it into fabric!

I am terrible at taking pictures. I get so in the moment, I never think to record it in pictures. I was that way when the kids were little too. I guess that is why I am not so great at the whole social media marketing thing. Above is a sweet shot of me with my friend Annette at her Sample Spree table- right before the madness began!

Carina Gardner of mini love and who has fabric with Riley Blake had a real camper at the show- and we got to go in it and explore. So much fun! Now I want one! I don’t think hubby would like it though; he is 6’4″ and I am not sure he would fit!
Here are a few other pictures I did manage to take. Here is my Harbor Lights pop up in the Windham booth using Luna Sol fabrics. I had to get a shot of that!

Love the appliqué quilt.
(Too bad all my pictures are at an angle- not sure why I can’t take one straight! haha!)
I hope you all have a fun, safe holiday weekend. Thank you to all who serve and all who gave their lives so we can enjoy the freedoms we have here in the US. We are ever grateful.

happy quilting
Kate
