Favorite Spring Quilts
How are you all doing? Staying home and staying healthy?
During these crazy times, many quilt designers have been putting out more information on social media- doing quilt alongs and FB Lives.
Recently, as part of a group of designers, I did 2 FB Live trunk shows. And the theme was Favorite Quilts.
Here are just a few of my favorite spring quilts…
Dance Party
This is a quilt from my book, Smash Your Precut Stash. I love this quilt but due to it’s size, it usually does not come with me when I do trunk shows or lectures to guilds or at quilt shops.
It uses FQs and then a couple of other fabrics and background. It’s just so bright and sunny and I love the movement in it!
Crystal did wavy quilting lines that really accentuate the movement of the quilt.
Quarter Turn
I’m not sure why but I just love these baby quilt version of my pattern Quarter Turn!!
Love the pink one!
Doesn’t spring remind you of babies? Spring is the season of birth, renewal and new beginnings. And for me, maybe I also equate spring with babies because 2 of my babies (who are now grown men!) were born in the spring. And our family has a brand new baby – my nephew and his wife’s new baby daughter- born just last week!

Such a fun pattern and only 4 fabrics!
Boston Bricks
This quilt is just so bright and fun. And Boston Bricks is Fat Quarter friendly! Just grab some of your favorite FQS from your stash and get going!
And the crib quilt version is so sweet!
There is even a bonus quilt using leftovers from the crib quilt!
And isn’t the quilting on this one great? Be use the prints had animals in them, we chose this adorable animal quilting pattern.
Bright Hope
As one of my newest patterns, Bright Hope is a new favorite. I love everything about it; easy piecing, bright solid fabrics, and the black and white striped binding is just so yummy!
And the pattern has 2 leftover projects! What’s not to love?
