Elementz Blog Hop

February 28, 2018July 8, 2020 37 comments

Hi friends!

Today is my day on the Elementz blog hop.

Elementz is a really fun, bright, bold batik line by my friend Tammy Silvers for Island Batik.

I decided to make a small project using the line- though I know the strip pack would look amazing in my pattern Jelly Roll Jumble. Or  Lighthouse Steps.

But for this hop, I designed a notebook cover using my Mini Braid Template and Elementz.

I chose this great block print for the main fabrics, this dark blue for the contrast and a collection of prints for the braid.

It was fun and easy to make.

Now I am ready for my day, ready to take notes, to make plans… as long as I have my coffee!

Awesome fabric and pattern. My first thought is to make and send them to our deployed Lady Warriors to use as their personal journals while they are so far from family and friends. Thank you!
