Last month I shared about the Allure QAL for my new BOM quilt that will start soon here on the blog. I’m so excited to share some tips with you!
Allure QAL
This is how the quilt along will work. Since Allure is a Block of the Month quilt, each month for 9 months I will be sharing tips on how to make that month’s block. Sometimes the blocks are pretty easy and some are a little more difficult, but overall they are a pretty simple group of blocks with big pieces!
Why big pieces? Because the fabric I used in the quilt is so cool and has so much movement! This way you get big pieces of the fabric in each block!
The fabric is called Aura. It’s so beautiful. The swoops and swirls are just lovely.
To be able to make the blocks you will need the pattern. There are shops that are carrying the pattern and the fabrics and you just need to do a search for that.
I also have just the pattern for sale on my website.
Schedule
The first block post will be May 8th and each month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, I will post about the next block! So Block 2 will be June 12th. The posts will just have tips – no blocks measurements, no sizes.
I can’t wait to get started! I hope you enjoy the QAL; it’s a really fun quilt to make and I love the setting! It’s row quilt… sort of!
