Bags & Small Quilts

Look who has a pattern in McCall’s Quick Quilts!

May 7, 2014July 29, 2020 59 comments

Why, yes we do!

Hexi-Hop-flat-600px

I love this runner- perfect for a baby’s room. We called it Hexi Hop because I thought it looked like birds playing “hexi” hopscotch!

Isn’t it cute?

DSC08851Elizabeth made the quilt: the fabrics we used are from Moda Fabrics- Chance of Flowers by Sandy Gervais.

So sweet! And she quilted it with Aurifil thread.

Cover full

And of course, we can’t have a new pattern out in a magazine and not give one away!

Would you like one? Perfect!  We have 2 magazines to give away.

(And did you see the little sneak peak of the quilt on the cover?)

You know the drill, leave a comment (and if you are a no-response blogger, make sure to leave your email so we can contact you). Nothing specific, maybe what colors you would use?

If you like our Facebook page, you get an extra chance. If you signed up for the newsletter, you get another chance. If you follow us on Pinterest, you get another chance. Just leave me comments telling me what you did.

OK- so leave a comment and I will draw two winners on Sunday, May 11th- in the morning, around 9am MST.

US and Canada only please.

Of course, if you can’t wait, or you live overseas, you can always order one here– print or digital. Your choice.

Happy early Mother’s Day to all you mothers. I hope you have plans to spend the day doing something you love. I hope I get a chance to chat with my kids- we are all so far away from each other. Colorado, Florida and Connecticut and Scotland, UK. Time zone confusion!

happy quilting,

Kate

p.s. If you did not win the free Craftsy class, click here for a 50% link for my class, 3 Blocks, 30 Quilts. It’s a lot of fun and the link will not be around forever!

With great grandbabies number 10 and number 11 due to arrive in August, I really need to make two from this sweet pattern. One momma wants gray/white and other wants purple in their baby’s room. I think I could make those colors work!

Cute runner. My niece is having her first baby and she is using aqua, gray and yellow in her nursery, so I think I would try it in these colors.

I just think it is simple and cute and you could make it into a Easter table runner or vertical wall hanging. The possibilities are endless. I love your colors but would use some light sage and plum to match my dining room. If I used as a floor runner I would use whatever colors to match the room its going in.
