Hi friends!
How are you? How is the weather by you? We had some snow over the last couple of days and it has been cold. But the pup loves playing in the snow! So she and I have been outside a couple of times everyday just throwing a ball around and romping in the snow.
Well, she romps. I trudge.
Today I want to tell you about a new book out with Martingale called Lunch Hour Patchwork. It is filled with small projects you can whip up in a short period of time. And some are really just so stinkin’ cute. And I have a project in the book!
One project I really like is this Sister’s Choice Table Topper by Beth Bradley. I have always loved that block, and I like small table toppers for my coffee table AND I think I have some of those fabrics still in my stash. I might have to go make one of these!
Another fun one is this Tiny Trees Mini Quilt by Christa Watson. I know I have lots of green scraps I could use for this project.
And who doesn’t love Pinwheel blocks? They look great made into this Pretty Pinwheels Clutch by Melissa Mortenson.
And here is my project: Seaside Coasters. I love making fabric coasters and for these I even added binding. The binding kind of hugs the bottom of your glass to keep it safe.
There are a lot of really fun projects in the book and I am sure you will find a few you can’t wait to make, like maybe this cute Bluebird wall hanging by my friend Sandra Clemons?
Want to win a copy of the book? Well, Martingale has a giveaway starting today on their blog. Click here to go to their blog so you can enter.
AND, I am giving away an ebook of Lunch Hour Patchwork! If you would like a chance to win the ebook, leave a comment on this post. My giveaway closes Tuesday Feb 27th at 9pm my time.

p.s. Next week I am participating in another blog hop with fun things to see and win! My day on the hop is Wednesday Feb 28th, but the fun begins Monday Feb 26th – go to Tammy Silvers blog on Monday to get started!
p.p.s. I can’t wait to show you my new pattern, Sweet Spirals! I made the quilt using fabric from Sandra Clemons new line, Believe for Michael Miller Fabrics. The fabric has these great unicorns.
I have not been able to get a good picture of the whole quilt due to the weather, but once I have the picture, I will share. For now, here is a sneak peek of the border fabric!
