Hi friends!
This time of year many of us are scrambling to make holidays gifts for family and friends. Is that you? I have one great gift suggestion: use quilted placemat patterns and make them their own placemats!
Placemats are quick and easy to make! You can make them as a set for the homeowner or personalized for just one person. I recently made some as a gift for a friend. They really are great gifts as they don’t add clutter, are useful and make any meal more fun!
Quilted placemat patterns
Here are 4 quilted placemat patterns! And they are all part of my BOGO sale going on now thru the end of the year!
Table Scraps
Works with the Braid Template. This is a great pattern to use up leftovers scraps of fabric- hence the name!
Stroll
I love these placemats! Super simple piecing but really dynamic.
I am making some of these right now in my Tiki Punch line- they will add a pop of color to my table!
With those reds and greens, I think they will feel like tropical holiday placemats!
Want to make a set of these for yourself? Email me if you want to purchase a kit!
Tannenbaum Trio
A holiday classic! You can strip piece or paper piece the trees.
Tropical Breeze
My newest pattern that includes placemats!
You can see the runner and quilts in this post.
Other Quick Gift Ideas
And while quilted placemats patterns are great, a table runner would also be a fun gift!
Top This!
Top This! table runner works with the mini braid and is a scrap buster pattern!
Leftovers
Ah, my original Leftovers table runner was designed around this time of year.
And it was made from leftover fabric with a fall theme but that is not the only way it got its name. Because, what is the best part of Thanksgiving? The leftovers!
Jot it Down!
What about your book club buddies?
Make them their own personalized notebook cover!
BOGO Sale
All of these patterns are part of my BOGO sale and don’t forget- for every order placed in November, you will get a surprise goodie!
Next week Tammy and I will have an Exploring Quilting Basics post on Wednesday- we will be chatting about the diamond rec block.
Happy Thanksgiving!
