I completed two Tiger Lily quilts this week! One is for… can’t say yet!, and one is for charity.
My Tiger Lily Quilts:
This is the one for charity – I pieced the top but didn’t add the usual Tiger Lily checkerboard border. I just added some bigger quilt borders. And I changed the setting a little from the original.
That is what I love about this Tiger Lily quilt – change the setting of the blocks and you can really change the look!
Victoria over at Thread Loft in Aurora donated time on her long arm and Michelle Davis quilted it- she is a beginner on the long arm so this was practice for her.
She did a great job!
I love how it came out – I am going to have to get a better picture before it takes off for its new home.
I just sent one quilt top off to the machine quilter and started another quilt top.
How has your week been?
happy quilting,
Kate
