Hi friends!
I hope you had a great week! It has been busy over here- lots of sewing and for the last 2 days – and for today- I am at the Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival in Castle Rock. This year I am hanging out in the Sew-ciety booth doing demos with my Braid Template. So if you have not popped on over to the quilt show- today (Sat) is the last day. Come say hi!
Fiesta de Azucar block #2 was made by my friend Joanne Hillestad of the The Fat Quarter Gypsy. You may know her as she is the designer behind those great Fat Quarter Pop Ups. You can click here to go to her blog and see her sugar skull block.
I have to admit; I have not made my first block yet. Only week 2 and I am behind! But I have my pattern and hope to get it done soon. But here is a potential layout for the blocks showing Terri’s block #1.
I think it so fun to read each designer’s story about their skull. I hope you enjoy Joanne’s story and have fun with her skull! If you need more information about the Fiesta de Azucar, click here to go to my first blog post and read about it.
happy quilting!
Kate
