Another newbie! Brick and Mortar is another of our new quilt patterns and we just love how it came out!
The design was inspired by old, classic brick houses.
It was a pretty windy day during our “photo shoot” but while the wind huffed and it puffed it didn’t blow this quilt down! (of course, it did take down another quilt or two!)
This quilt is so fast and fun to make- a classic case of simple piecing= dramatic results!

Lily even helped with the layout!
The cover quilt was quilted by Crystal Zagnoli of the Quilted Cricket and she did an amazing job!
Isn’t the quilting wonderful?
We got to play again with some really terrific fabric from Timeless Treasures– the quilt used a 6″ Tonga Treat pack called Mulberry.
Though you can also use FQs- my friend Wendy tested the pattern and she used FQs- can’t wait until hers is quilted so I can show you.
We are on a roll- new quilt #3 will debut next week!
