Hi friends!
It has been a rainy week here in CO- on Monday we had rain, hail, wind… wow. Luckily for me, where I live, we did not get hail so we were spared any hail damage. Phew.
I have been busy sewing up a storm! I used these adorable fabrics from my friend Sandra Clemons to make another version of one of my new quilts. The line is called In Bloom from Michael Miller and it will be introduced at Quilt Market next week. So cute!
I have also been making shop samples- you know I LOVE to use my Braid Template so I made a bunch of Table Scraps runners and now I am going to make a couple of Leftover runners.
I love how the straight line quilting looks on these runners. Easy to do, looks great. Perfect!
I have this TO DO list of items to get done before next week that feels a little like Santa’s list (meaning very long). I am not complaining, just worried I will run out of time. So think positive thoughts for me. And I will keep saying: I think I can, I think I can… I know I can, I know I can!
I can’t wait to show you all my new patterns. I hope you like them as much as I do. Hmmm…. what should I do next? Binding, piecing, writing…
Oh- I know! I should tell you who won the 100 Blocks magazines! Silly me. The winners are:
Lee Ann Lenfest and Tina! Congratulations! You should have gotten an email from me asking for your snail mail address.
Thank you to everyone who commented. I always read every comment and I really appreciate all your support.
I will try to post next week from Quilt Market! Wish me luck.
happy quilting,
Kate
p.s. Did you see this on Craftsy? So exciting! I hope the quilters who buy the quilt kit and then watch this class enjoy it.
