A while back I was working on my pattern Meander, getting it ready for fall quilt market. I had already made the cover quilt some fun Kate Spain fabrics from Moda and a baby quilt or 2 from fat quarters I had in my stash.
And then I saw my friend Sandra Clemons new fabric line with Michael Miller called Front Yard. So cute!
So I asked her if I could get some fabric to make another version of Meander and she said yes!
The fabric just came out in stores last month. It is a really sweet line. Her inspiration came from small moments in her front yard with her daughter and what things she would see.
Here is my version of Meander using 16 fabrics from her line. I added white and grey solids which I think work well with the cute fabrics. Though you could use a bright color in place of the grey. Or a navy would also look great with these fabrics.
I love how the little bunnies appear to be peeking out at you. To see the whole line of fabric, you can go to Sandra’s website here.
Or go to Michael Miller’s site here.
Meander is a fun, easy pattern that uses fat quarters; 8 for the baby quilt, 16 for the lap and 33 for the bed size quilt.
